Attention Fontana Pharmacy Assistants!

Kaiser Permanente has an exciting training opportunity exclusively for Full-time, Part-time, and On-call Pharmacy Assistants under USW.

After weeks of discussions with KP leaders, we are pleased to announce the childcare grant has been extended and the grant eligibility remains the same.

After weeks of discussions with KP leaders, we are pleased to announce 7600 members will continue to receive COVID-19 sick leave through the first quarter of next year.   

The COVID-19 sick leave benefits were set to expire Dec. 31, 2020, and have now been extended to March 31, 2021. In particular, we had called on KP to refresh sick leave for individuals who have previously used the benefit.

This is a list of ballot measures that will help working class people and a list of candidates that will do the work needed to improve our lives once in office.  It is our job to make decisions that will move working class people forward.  We are not telling folks who to vote for, or how to vote, but providing a guide to help them navigate through the ballot measures and candidates better.

Wildfire season is here and the number of Southern California fires that have recently arisen makes this clear.

Times are hard, we all know that.  Coronavirus has put a halt on the global economy at some point or another. With our own eyes, we have seen how local businesses have been affected by the pandemic, having to keep their doors shut.  At our workplace we have also seen how the pandemic has changed the way we manage our day to day business with the addition of the labor pool and the ramping up of virtual care.  To top everything off, we are entering the flu season and are expecting an influx of patients like never before.

USW Local 7600 is PROUD to ANNOUNCE that after several meetings and conversations with the organization, THE CHILD CARE GRANT IS BACK!

With the closures of several schools throughout the Inland Empire and the new hybrid programs coming out, WE, at the Union, understand how difficult it is to hold down a job and a family.

The additional 80 hours for COVID-19 Positive benefit has now been extended through December 31, 2020.
