In a display of solidarity and community spirit, the NextGen Committee of USW Local 7600 hosted a highly successful event today at the Union Hall, drawing a remarkable turnout and garnering widespread support from its dedicated members.
The event, orchestrated by the NextGen Committee in conjunction with the committees W.O.S. and Civil & Human Rights, was a testament to the hard work and dedication of its members. Melissa Borgia and Cindy Cochran the NextGen committee chairs, spearheaded the initiative and led the event with passion and commitment. The success of the event reflects the collective effort of all involved, showcasing their ability to come together and create a memorable experience for everyone.
One highlight of the day was the exceptional photography capturing every moment of the event, thanks to the talented Amanda Campa, a pharmacy tech hailing from Moreno Valley. Amanda's skills behind the camera ensured that the memories created during the event will be cherished for years to come.
Adding an extra layer of joy and festive cheer, Robert Marin, an ER Tech from Kaiser Permanente Fontana, and Maggie Hernandez, Fontana Grievance Rep, took on the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Their spirited performances brought smiles to the faces of attendees, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. A very earned thank you goes out to Robert and Maggie for bringing joy to so many children as Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Vice President Norberto Gomez, expressing his gratitude, remarked, "I am incredibly proud of the NextGen Committee and our members for coming together and making this event a resounding success. It's awesome to see the support from our union family, and I want to extend a special thanks to Amanda Campa and Joel Maya for capturing the magic through their lenses."
"I want to commend the NextGen Committee for their outstanding efforts in organizing today's event. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by our members, led by the dedicated chairs truly exemplify the strength and unity of USW Local 7600. It's heartening to see the commitment to community and solidarity. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success."
