2025 Local Bargaining Updates
What Is Local Bargaining?
Local bargaining refers to the negotiations between USW Local 7600 and Kaiser Permanente specific to Southern California facilities such as Fontana, Ontario, and Riverside.
While national bargaining through the Alliance addresses system-wide issues like wages and benefits, local bargaining focuses on department-specific and operational issues. These include staffing levels, scheduling, work-life balance, dispute resolution processes, and workplace safety.
The terms negotiated in local bargaining are outlined in the USW SCAL Local Agreement, which works in conjunction with the National Agreement to protect the rights and working conditions of our members.
This section provides real-time updates from the local bargaining table, keeping you informed on proposals, progress, and how your voice—as a USW 7600 member—is being represented.
