USW Local 7600 Bargaining Update
Local Bargaining Updates for: Monday, June 9; Wednesday, June 11; and Monday, June 16, 2025
Our Bargaining Committee continued pushing for gains at the local bargaining table. We formed two subgroups with management to focus on key areas:
- Standardizing 10- and 12-hour shift agreements to increase opportunities and ensure smooth implementation—including a proposal for a 12-hour, 0.9 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) option.
- Improving the job evaluation process to ensure a more efficient and effective process.
“ I am encouraged by the progress we’re making at the national bargaining table, and I am proud of the energy and dedication of our Local Bargaining Committee. It’s inspiring to come together and work on the issues that matter most to our members, and we look forward to winning improvements to our CBA.
— Micheal Barnett, President
