Extra Shift Incentive - Anesthesiology Technicians

The Kaiser Permanente Southern California Region is experiencing a high Operating Room patient census resulting in an increased demand for related staffing as a result of COVID-19 impacts.

Extra Shift Incentives are extended for Urgent Care, ED, & Message Management

Urgent Care and ED Extra Shift Incentives which expired at 7:00 am, on August 31, 2022, have been extended. The new sunset date is 7 am on October 1, 2022. All other terms and conditions remain the same as the current originating ESIs for the following:

The Kaiser Permanente Southern California Region is experiencing a high Urgent Care and Emergency Department patient census resulting in an increased demand for staffing as a result of COVID-19 impacts. Faced with this challenge, Southern California Permanente Medical Group (“SCPMG”) leadership and USW 7600 agreed to temporarily offer an "Extra Shift Incentive" to induce employees in the following Licensed Vocational Nurse and Medical Assistant classifications to work extra “message management” shifts in departments under SCPMG as specifically listed below:
