This week, your Local 7600 leadership is in Los Angeles for the kickoff of national bargaining with Kaiser Permanente. Your solidarity means everything—not to us, but to what we’re building together. Staying engaged, showing up, and speaking out is how we move forward. We’re all in this fight together.

The week kicked off with a rally at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park—an incredible show of unity and strength.

Back home, our Local Bargaining Committee has already spent the last three weeks at the table with management. We brought forward the issues you identified: economics not covered under the National Agreement, staffing and safety, work-life balance, the impacts of AI, and more. Your voices shaped our platform, and they will continue to guide every step we take.

Keep wearing your buttons. Keep the conversations going. Follow us on social media and sign up for text alerts by texting usw7600 to 77820.

This fight isn’t about supporting a union—it’s about showing up for what’s already yours.
