USW Emergency Service Workers in San Bernardino County Need Our Help!

Working families depend upon critical ambulance services to know they are safe, secure, and cared for in their time of need. This is based upon a foundation of trust forged between community members and the EMT and paramedic workers who serve them.

Our USW member employer, AMR, has received an intent notice that they may be awarded the contract to provide ambulance services to communities in San Bernardino County. Now it is up to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors to approve the recommendation to make the final determination.

In order for the Board of Supervisors to understand how critical this contract win would be to us, and to our members whose livelihoods and families depend upon this decision, we must make sure that we are seen and heard.

Here’s How You Can Help!

There are two ways in which you can stand up to show your support for our USW siblings in this effort:
  1. Show up in your USW gear to the next Board of Supervisors meeting to be held on November 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at:

San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Chambers
    385 N. Arrowhead Ave.
    San Bernardino, CA 92415

  2. Call the Board of Supervisors and ask them to:
