Dear USW Local 7600 Members,
As a reminder, both our National and Local contracts with Kaiser Permanente will expire on September 30, 2025. Bargaining has begun, and your Local 7600 Bargaining Committee is at the table standing strong for the fair contract we all deserve.
What to Know:
- Negotiations take place at both the national and local levels.
- Our union and KP have scheduled dedicated time blocks to meet and negotiate.
- Bargaining includes introductions, setting ground rules, and discussions around logistics, proposals, and interests.
- Proposals fall into two categories: Economic (like wages and benefits) and Non-Economic (like staffing, job security, and working conditions).
