The Alliance of Healthcare Unions in partnership with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions have created a weekly newsletter, "MeFit," as a positive resource for us to use.  The information within the newletter are subjects related to health, financial wellness, kids activities, current events, useful tips and much more.  "A one stop shop to help staff stay positive and a nice break from COVID emails," as stated by Marci Acevedo, one of the content creators.

1. As COVID-19 continues to spread quickly and related news reports dominate the media, it’s natural to feel anxious and stressed. As you care for others, whether members, patients, or your own family, we want to be sure you prioritize taking care of yourself.

Many of you know me, but for those who do not, I am your USW Local 7600 President, Valery Robinson. I am taking your health/safety and well being very seriously during these unprecedented, critical times.  This is why I want to personally inform you of a very important update regarding PPE.

Our President Valery Robinson and Vice President Liz Cuevas are working tirelesly 7 days a week with the leaders of Kaiser Permanente to get ahead of the nasty Coronavirus and to keep us up to date with what's going on.  Val and Liz have received authorization to release the Daily COVID-19 Message.  This is a message created by the leaders at Kaiser Permanente with important updates and policies.  Please see below for the most recent update we have for the Riverside Service Area.   Also, please do not hesitate to call the union with any questions or concerns at
