Wage Equity & Negotiated Wage Update

What members should know about wage equity, newly bargained differentials, and the next 6.5% across-the-board wage increase.

USW Local 7600 continues to work diligently to finalize wage equity increases with Kaiser Permanente. We know members are eager for information, and we want to provide a clear update on where the process stands and what negotiated wage improvements are coming next.

Where Things Stand

Wage Equity: Work Continues

USW Local 7600 continues to work diligently to finalize wage equity increases with Kaiser Permanente. The wage equity process is complex and requires detailed review and ongoing discussions with the company to ensure the negotiated adjustments are finalized and implemented correctly.

Important: Retroactive Pay

Once finalized, any applicable wage equity increases will be retroactive to the first full pay period following July 1, 2026.

We will communicate additional information to the membership as soon as the details are finalized.

Coming Next

Newly Bargained Differentials

As a reminder, newly bargained differentials—such as shift differentials and other classification-specific adjustments—will begin taking effect starting with the first full pay period following 120 days after ratification.
