- On-site;
- At a qualifying medical facility (including hospitals, SNFs, and clinics as defined by the statute and DHCS);
- During the qualifying period (July 30, 2022 – October 28, 2022);
- And was still employed as of November 28, 2022 (the date of record); and
- Was not an exempt manager.
Payments
Full-time employee: the state payment amount will be up to $1,000, plus the matching retention payment paid to the eligible full-time employee up to a maximum state payment of $1,500.
Part-time employee: the state payment amount will be up to $750, plus the matching retention payment paid to the eligible part-time employee up to a maximum state payment of $1,250.
Note DHCS will set the amounts of the payments and may reduce the payment amounts if the total quantity based on the number of eligible employees and physicians exceeds the total funding provided by the state.
Deadlines/Timing:
KP will apply for the program by the due date of December 30, 2022. DHCS is anticipating vetting employee eligibility and sending payments back to using entities by the end of January 2023. KP will have 60 days from receiving those lists of eligible employees and the payments to disburse the costs to our staff.
