Dear Member,
Pursuant to a voluntary compliance settlement accepted by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL),
Office of Labor Management Standards (OLMS), entered on October 31, 2022, the United
Steelworkers Local 7600 is conducting a new election for the office of President with the ballot tally
occurring February 2, 2023.
Ballots will be mailed to all members on January 13, 2023. Your ballot package includes:
• Voting instructions
• Unmarked ballot
• Envelope marked “Secret Ballot Envelope”
• Larger return envelope with your return address on the envelope –please do not remove this
label – your ballot will be disqualified.
The voting instructions can be found on the Secret Ballot Envelope. Members are advised to mark
their ballot by punch hole in private, seal it in the secret ballot envelope and place the secret ballot
envelope in the return envelope addressed to the designated post office box. You must mail the
envelope via regular and/or first class USPS so it is received no later than 12:30 PM on February 2,
2023 at the designated post office box. Please give time for your ballot to be processed by USPS.
The ballot must be mailed and cannot be hand delivered.
